Details: Handi-Quilter Educator Waynna Kershner will be in our store April 16, 17 & 18. Classes will be held 9:30 - 12:30 and 1:30 - 4:30. You can sign up for one class or all 6! 

April 16: Morning session: Stationary Machine Quilting. Calling ALL quilters! This class is for anyone who wants to learn more about general quilting techniques for your home machine or sit down long arm quilting machines. Come and discover basting techniques, using the proper thread, needles and tension plus free motion quilting. Explore the machine, feet, rulers and other accessories. She will teach you how to baste quilt layers and maneuver the quilt on a stationary machine. Afternoon session: Taking the mystery out of long-arm quilting. This class demystifies longarm quilting by teaching all of the basics. Learn how to load a quilt into the frame, selecting the correct thread for your project and an overview of free-motion quiltng.

April 17: This is an ALL day session on the Pro Stitcher. The morning session will provide you with an overview the use-friendly Pro-Stitcher, step by step process for each function. Required for all newcomers to longarm quiltnig. The afternoon will focus on important techniques: Reposition, Nudge and Drag & Drop, Skew 1 v Skew 2, set up, crop, wrap and advance the edge to edge function.

April 18: Pro-Stitcher: Expanding What you Know. This is an ALL day session. Advanced techniques to take full advantage of the Pro-Stitcher. Topics will include borders with corners; modify, triangle skew, digitizing your own designs and chunking borders and quilting designs larger than your throat space.
