This is the story of Hannah Cummings Cotton, her plantation life, her children and her journey to Ohio, leaving the chains of slavery behind. This block of the month will begin on September 13th, at 10:00 A.M. and continue to meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month for 12 months. The program includes the story, the pattern and fabric for your quilt top, its binding, refreshments and fellowship. This beautiful quilt when finished measures 97 inches by 97 inches. The cost of the class is $25.00 per month. You will receive a 30% coupon to be used for the backing and batting upon the completion of your quilt. If desired, you may stay and use our class room at no charge to work on your block. Pay for all 12 months in advance and receive a 10% discount.
